How does the Penalty shoot-out game work?

You stake, aim and shoot. A goal raises your win to the next rung of the ladder, and the round waits for you: cash out to bank it, or shoot again. A save ends the round with nothing. After the fifth goal the round ends on its own as a perfect shoot-out. The whole round is settled from one draw made at the start, before your first kick, so nothing you do mid-round changes which kick the keeper saves.

Leave a round open and it is not lost: after 30 minutes without a kick the game cashes out what you have. Leaving with Telegram's Back button mid-round also cashes out.

Gift Club Penalty shoot-out before the first kick: the five-step scoreboard over the goal, the keeper, the striker, four aim spots, the stake picker, the max-win line and the Cash out and Shoot buttons
The scoreboard over the goal is the ladder: it lights one step per goal, and the max-win line shows what five goals pay at this stake.

    What does each goal pay?

Each goal doubles the last rung, starting at 1.90×: 1.90×, 3.80×, 7.60×, 15.20× and 30.40× for the fifth. On a 10-Star kick that is 19, 38, 76, 152 and 304 Stars. The biggest win is five goals at the 50-Star top stake, 1,520 Stars, or 15.2 at 0.5, under the game's 2,500-Star and 25-GRAM caps.

    When should you cash out?

Whenever the pot is one you would be happy to keep, because no stopping point is better on average. The ladder is built so that cashing out after the first goal, after the third or shooting to the end all return exactly 95% over many rounds. What changes is the shape: stopping early wins smaller amounts more often, and chasing the fifth goal wins 30.4× rarely. Pick the shape you enjoy, and set the stake so a save does not sting.

Does the corner you aim at matter?

No. The four corners are there for the kick you see, and the game stores your aim only as history. The draw never reads it, so top left scores exactly as often as bottom right, and no keeper reads your pattern. That is also why the game can be provably fair: a skill or guessing element would need a different proof.

Can you play Penalty shoot-out for free?

Yes, in Spark rounds. A Spark round costs 1 Spark, the free currency the daily streak pays, and plays the same five kicks for XP instead of Stars: 1, 3, 7, 15 or 30 XP for cashing out after the first to the fifth goal; a save in a Spark round pays no XP. Paid rounds pay XP too, win or lose.

    Is Penalty shoot-out provably fair?

Yes, every Stars and Gram round. Before your first kick the game commits to a hash of the server seed, and the kick the keeper saves is derived from that seed, your client seed and the round number. Rotate your seed and the old one is revealed in the seed history, so any finished round can be checked. A Penalty shoot-out port of our provably fair checker is coming; the maths is the same as Wind-up Crossing's, which the checker already covers.

How is it different from Coin Flip and Wind-up Crossing?

All three are cash-out ladders. Coin Flip's Let it ride climbs the same 1.90× to 30.40× steps, one call at a time. Wind-up Crossing runs on the same engine with more lanes and four roads of different risk. Penalty shoot-out keeps it to one ladder of five kicks under the floodlights. For a board where you pick the risk, try Minefield.

What is a penalty shootout game?

What is the biggest win in Penalty shoot-out?

30.4× your stake for five goals in a row. At the 50-Star top stake that is 1,520 Stars, and 15.2 at 0.5.

What is the RTP of Penalty shoot-out?

95%, at every cash-out point. Stopping after one goal or shooting to the fifth returns the same 95% over many rounds; only the size and frequency of wins change.

No. Every spot scores the same; the corner is for the animation and is stored only as history. The round's result is fixed by the provably fair draw before the first kick.
