How much do Telegram Stars cost?
A Star costs a flat $0.015 on Fragment at every pack size, and about $0.020 in the US App Store, where 100 Stars are $1.99 and 1,000 are $19.99. In russia the App Store lists 100 Stars at 209 ₽, about 2.09 ₽ a Star, and in Indonesia at Rp37,500, or Rp375 a Star.
Why is Fragment cheaper?
Fragment sells Stars for Gram, USDT or USDC outside the app stores, so no Apple or Google commission sits in the price. Against the US App Store that is about 25% less per Star. Its smallest pack is 50 Stars, and you can send the Stars to your own account or to someone else's username.
How the calculator picks App Store packs
App stores sell Stars only in fixed packs, so for an amount between packs the calculator rounds up to the smallest amount the listed packs can make and buys it in the fewest packs. It uses only the packs Apple shows on the public listing: in russia those are 100, 150, 250 and 500 Stars, so 1,000 Stars there means two 500 packs. Bigger packs are not cheaper per Star: in the US, ten 100 packs would even cost a few cents less than one 1,000 pack.
Rouble and rupiah prices for Fragment are estimates
Fragment bills in Gram or a stablecoin, so its rouble and rupiah figures are converted at the Bank of russia's official rates for 15 October 2026: $1 = 83.9497 ₽, and about Rp17,930 through the bank's rupiah rate. That puts a Fragment Star near 1.26 ₽ or Rp269 before network fees. The App Store prices are the stores' own, in their own currency.
