Balloon Pump is Gift Club's take on the crash format, with one difference that makes it much easier to reason about: the risk is fixed and published. Every single pump survives with a flat 90% probability, no matter how big the balloon already is. That means you always know exactly what the next pump costs you in risk — a one-in-ten chance of losing everything, for an 11% bump in your multiplier.
How to play Balloon Pump
- Open Balloon Pump in the Games hub. Launch Gift Club inside Telegram, open Games and pick Balloon Pump.
- Set your stake. Free mode pays XP. Paid mode accepts 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 Stars, with single wins capped at 10,000 Stars.
- Pump. Each tap inflates the balloon one step and raises your multiplier. Every pump has the same 90% chance of surviving.
- Watch the multiplier climb. The ladder runs from 1.0555× at one pump to 7.8140× at twenty, which is the maximum the balloon accepts.
- Cash out before it bursts. Bank at any point to collect bet × the current multiplier. If the balloon bursts first, the stake is gone.

Balloon Pump pros and cons
Pros
- The risk per pump is flat and published — 90%, every time, with no hidden acceleration
- Twenty rungs gives very fine control over where you stop
- Even the maximum run has a 12.2% chance, which is far more reachable than most top prizes in the app
- Free XP mode runs the same balloon at no cost
- Provably fair, with the burst point fixed before your first pump
Cons
- Lowest ceiling of any risk-ladder game here — 7.8140× against 70.96× on Minefield
- The flat 90% is deceptively brutal compounded: half of all rounds burst by pump seven
- Twenty taps per round makes it the slowest game in the app to play repeatedly
What a flat 90% actually costs you
Ninety percent sounds generous, and per pump it is. Compounded, it is not. By pump 7 you are below an even chance of still being in the round. By pump 14 you are under a quarter. The full twenty-pump run happens 12.2% of the time.
The trade at every rung is identical, which is what makes this game unusually legible: you are risking everything banked, at one-in-ten, to increase it by 11%. That is the offer at pump 1 and the same offer at pump 19. Nothing about the balloon getting bigger changes it.
Why the ceiling is low, and why that is fine
Balloon Pump tops out at 7.8140×, which is modest next to Minefield's 70.96× or Mines Tower's 92.77×. That is a direct consequence of the flat 90%: a gentle per-step risk cannot compound into a large multiplier over only twenty steps.
The upside is the other side of the same coin. A 12.2% chance at the maximum is a far more realistic proposition than Mines Tower's 1% or Plinko's 0.0015%. If you would rather have a genuine shot at the top of a ladder than a lottery ticket at a big number, this is the game in the app that offers it.
Picking a stopping point
- 5 pumps (1.6088×, 59%): the conservative line. More than half of rounds get there.
- 10 pumps (2.7245×, 34.9%): roughly a third of rounds, for close to triple the stake. The most common sensible target.
- 15 pumps (4.6140×, 20.6%): one round in five, for close to five times the stake.
- 20 pumps (7.8140×, 12.2%): the full run. Reachable often enough to be a real target rather than a fantasy.
As with every ladder game here, the expected value of stopping is the same at every rung — the multiplier rises at exactly the rate the survival odds fall. The choice is variance, not value. What matters is deciding the number before you start, because "one more pump" is a decision this game is specifically designed to keep asking you.
Balloon Pump versus the other ladders
- Gentlest risk: Balloon Pump. 90% per step beats Minefield Easy's 88% first pick and every rung after it.
- Most rungs: Balloon Pump, at twenty. Minefield Easy has fifteen, Mines Tower six.
- Biggest ceiling: not this game. Mines Tower on Hard reaches 92.77× in five decisions.
Is Balloon Pump provably fair?
Yes. The burst point is determined by a server seed committed to as a published hash before your first pump, and revealed at the end of the round. The balloon cannot be popped early in response to your cash-out hovering — the pump at which it bursts was already fixed when the round began.
Balloon Pump FAQ
What are the odds of the balloon bursting?
Every pump has a flat 10% chance of bursting, regardless of how many pumps have already succeeded. That means a 90% chance of surviving any individual pump — but compounded, only 59% of rounds reach five pumps and 12.2% reach the twenty-pump maximum.
What is the maximum multiplier in Balloon Pump?
7.8140×, at twenty pumps, which is the most the balloon accepts. At the 100-Star bet tier that pays 781 Stars. Single-round wins are capped at 10,000 Stars, a ceiling this game's ladder never reaches.
When should I cash out in Balloon Pump?
There is no rung with a better expected value than any other — each multiplier rises exactly as fast as the survival odds fall. Ten pumps (2.7245×, reached about a third of the time) is a common target. The important part is choosing the number before the round starts.
Does the balloon get riskier as it gets bigger?
No. The burst chance is a flat 10% per pump and never accelerates. What changes is the compounded probability of still being in the round, which falls steadily — but the risk of the next individual pump is identical at pump 1 and pump 19.
Is Balloon Pump the same as a crash game?
It is the same family, with the risk made explicit. Crash games usually hide the hazard rate behind a rising curve; Balloon Pump states it as a flat 90% survival per step and publishes the full twenty-rung multiplier table, so you can see the exact trade at every point.
Play within your limits. Paid rounds cost Telegram Stars and every game on Gift Club is built so the house keeps a margin — over enough rounds the maths runs against you, by design.
