Midnight Panda is a free panda slot you can play right here, in the panel above, with no account and nothing to install: a sleepy panda dozes on the rail of a moonlit jade garden while dumplings, mooncakes and four baby pandas drop onto a 5×5 grid. It is a real game from the Gift Club app in Telegram, not a mock-up, and everything below is read out of the code that resolves its spins.
How to play Midnight Panda
- 1Play the demo aboveThe panel at the top of this page is the real game with a fake in-browser backend. It gives you 15 spins on demo Stars and then offers the app in Telegram.
- 2Set your stakeIn the app, a spin costs 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 Telegram Stars, or 0.1 to 10 GRAM. Spark rounds cost Sparks, the free currency the daily streak pays, and pay XP instead of Stars.
- 3Pick a risk levelIn paid play you choose Low, Medium or High. All three return 95%; the level sets how high one round can go, 25×, 50× or 100× the stake. High is the default and what the demo plays.
- 4Count the matches25 symbols land at once. 7 or more of one symbol anywhere on the grid is a win: there are no paylines. The rail under the board counts every symbol for you.
- 5Watch the tumbleWinners clear, the symbols above fall and new ones drop in. Each new win in the same spin pays at the next step of the multiplier ladder.
- 6Land 3 Gifts for free spins3 or more red Gift boxes on the first grid open free spins: 10 on High, 7 on Medium, 5 on Low. Inside them the multiplier grows with every tumble and never resets.

Midnight Panda pros and cons
Pros
- A real, playable panda slot in the browser: no sign-up, no download, no deposit
- Pays anywhere on the grid, so there are no paylines to misread
- Free spins whose multiplier never resets, opened by a Gift with panda ears
- Low, Medium and High risk at the same 95% RTP, with a 25×, 50× or 100× ceiling
- Spark rounds on the Sparks the daily streak pays, so it can be played without Stars
- Provably fair: the whole spin, free spins included, is fixed by a committed seed before the stake is taken
Cons
- A round stops at 100× the stake even on High, so it has no headline jackpot
- Much of the return sits in free spins, so a session without them runs well under 95%
- The demo's 15 spins are far too few to judge the maths; the tables are the fair sample
- The risk selector is for paid rounds only: Spark rounds always play Low
What is Midnight Panda?
Midnight Panda is a pay-anywhere slot in the Gift Club mini app, added on 2 October 2026 as the second design of Gift Club's slot. A 5×5 grid fills with 25 symbols, any symbol that lands 7 or more times pays, winners clear and tumble, and 3 Gift boxes open free spins. It plays for Telegram Stars, for Gram, or in Spark rounds that pay XP, and the demo at the top of this page plays it for demo Stars in your browser.
The game underneath is exactly Gifts of Zeus: the same rules, the same paytable and the same server code. Only the art, the names, the music and the little panda on the rail differ. The design you pick is recorded with each round so we can tell the two apart, and it never changes what a spin pays.
What are panda slots?
"Panda slots" is a theme, not a mechanic: slot games built around a giant panda, bamboo, lanterns and Chinese-garden scenery. The theme is popular because a panda is friendly and instantly readable on a small screen. Most of what turns up for the search is social-casino apps that play for virtual coins and slot videos; very few pages let you play one on the spot and also show you the maths.
Midnight Panda keeps the cute part and drops the gold. The garden has no gold or yellow in it at all, because in Gift Club gold means Telegram Stars, and a gold coin on the reels would read as a prize. The moon is lilac, the lanterns glow pink-red and the fireflies are cyan.
The symbols: four snacks and four baby pandas
The low symbols are snacks: a dumpling on a red plate, a stick of candied hawthorn, a pink mooncake and a bubble tea. The high symbols are four baby pandas: one in a rice bowl, one riding a koi, one on the moon, and the panda chef, the top symbol, which pays 40× at 11 or more. The ninth symbol is the Gift, a red present with panda ears, and it is the scatter.
Each snack and each panda has the same row in the paytable as its counterpart in Gifts of Zeus: the dumpling pays what the Ruby pays, the panda chef what the Temple pays. Two symbols can pay on the same grid; they are counted separately and both clear, which usually sets up a long tumble.
How does the tumble work?
When a win clears, the symbols above fall into the gaps and new ones drop from the top. If the new grid holds another 7 of a kind, it pays again at the next step of the ladder: on High 2×, then 3×, 5×, 8×, 12× and 20× from the seventh tumble on. A spin stops after 15 tumbles. The multiplier chip at the top left of the board shows the step you are on.
The ladder is why one spin can be worth far more than its paytable line: a panda chef paying 40× on a sixth tumble would be 480× the stake, which is exactly the kind of spin the 100× ceiling cuts short. Our article on cascading reels and slot multipliers explains the mechanic in general.
How do the free spins work?
3 or more Gifts on the first grid of a spin open free spins: 10 on High, plus 2 for a fourth Gift and 2 for a fifth, so 14 at most. Medium gives 7 and Low gives 5, each plus 1 per extra Gift. The Gift pays nothing itself; it only opens the round, which is what a scatter symbol does.
Inside free spins the multiplier starts at 1× and rises by one with every tumble, and it does not reset between spins. Tumble three times on the first free spin and the second starts at 4×. That makes the late spins of a bonus worth far more than the early ones, so the server resolves the whole bonus before the first grid drops, and the win reaches your balance even if Telegram closes the app halfway through.
What does the sleepy panda do?
The panda on the rail is the design's mascot, and it is purely cosmetic. It sleeps while the board is at rest, opens one eye on the first win of a spin, cheers on a big celebration and when free spins open, watches through the free spins, and nods off again a moment after the round settles. It only reacts to what the board has already shown: it cannot hint at what a spin will do, because the spin is decided before the first symbol falls.
Midnight Panda or Gifts of Zeus: which should you play?
Pick the one you like looking at. Both have the same 95% RTP, the same three risk levels, the same ceilings and the same free spins, and the app remembers one stake for both. Gifts of Zeus is marble, thunderbolts and gems on Mount Olympus; Midnight Panda is jade, lanterns and snacks at night. Each has its own demo, so you can try both before you open the app.
If you want the full maths, the Gifts of Zeus guide breaks down where the return comes from, how each risk level changes a session and how often each ceiling binds. All of it applies to Midnight Panda unchanged.
Low, Medium or High
In paid play, Stars or Gram, a selector beside the stake sets the risk level. It does not change the return: all three are 95%. It changes how high one round can go, 25× the stake on Low, 50× on Medium and 100× on High, and how the return gets there: a flatter ladder, shorter free spins and a few richer cells on the calmer levels. High is the default and what the demo plays; Spark rounds always play Low. You cannot change the level while a spin or free spins are running, and each level is its own frozen rule set, so an old round always replays under the version it was played at.
Can you play Midnight Panda for free?
Yes, two ways. The demo on this page is free and needs nothing: 15 spins on demo Stars, drawn by your browser's own random number generator, with no server and no seed, so it hides the fairness shield rather than showing seeds that prove nothing. In the app, a Spark round costs a Spark, the free currency the daily streak pays, and pays 1 to 20 XP by result instead of Stars. XP moves your level; it does not turn into Stars.
Playing for Stars is real money: Stars are bought in Telegram, and a round can lose all of its stake. The four things that change what a session costs are in How to Win at Slots.
Is it provably fair?
Yes, and the commitment covers the whole round. Before you spin, the server publishes the hash of a seed. Every symbol of the base grid, every refill, the free-spin trigger and all the free spins are derived from that seed in one pass before your stake is taken. Afterwards the seed is revealed and the round can be recomputed, including whether the bonus should have opened, under the rule set version it was played at. You can check one with the provably fair checker.
Midnight Panda FAQ
Can I play this panda slot free without signing up?
Yes. The panel at the top of this page is the real Midnight Panda with a fake in-browser backend: 15 spins on demo Stars, no account, no download and no deposit. Nothing you do in it reaches a server.
Is Midnight Panda the same game as Gifts of Zeus?
Yes. They are two designs of one slot: the same 5×5 grid, paytable, tumble ladders, free spins, risk levels and 95% RTP, resolved by the same server code. Only the art, names and sound differ, and the design you pick never changes what a spin pays.
What are the symbols in Midnight Panda?
Four snacks are the low symbols: dumpling, candied hawthorn, mooncake and bubble tea. Four baby pandas are the high ones: rice bowl panda, koi rider, moon panda and the panda chef, which pays up to 40× on High. The red Gift with panda ears is the scatter that opens free spins.
How do Midnight Panda's free spins work?
3 or more Gifts on the first grid open free spins: 10 on High, plus 2 for each extra Gift up to 5 Gifts, so 14 at most. Medium gives 7 and Low 5, each plus 1 per extra Gift. The multiplier starts at 1×, gains 1× with every tumble and never resets until the free spins run out.
What is the RTP and the maximum win?
95% at every stake and every risk level. One round pays at most 100× the stake on High, 50× on Medium and 25× on Low, free spins included, and a single payout is also capped at 10,000 Stars or 1,000 GRAM, which is exactly 100× at the top tier of each.
Can I play Midnight Panda in Telegram without spending Stars?
Yes, in Spark rounds. A Spark round costs one Spark, the free currency the daily streak pays, always plays at Low risk and pays 1 to 20 XP by result instead of Stars. Stars rounds cost 5 to 100 Stars a spin.
Does the panda mascot change the odds?
No. The panda is cosmetic: it sleeps, peeks at a win, cheers at a big one and dozes off again, reacting only to what the board has already shown. The whole spin is fixed by a committed seed before the first symbol falls.
Play within your limits. Paid rounds cost Telegram Stars or Gram, and every game on Gift Club is built so the house keeps a margin — over enough rounds the maths runs against you, by design. Stars cannot be converted back into money. Treat paid play as entertainment you have budgeted for, set a limit before you start, and play Spark rounds whenever you just want to play. Gift Club is 18+.
