Wind-up Crossing is a chicken crossing game in Telegram: a wind-up duckling crosses a toy town's roads one lane per tap, every lane crossed raises your multiplier, and you can cash out between any two lanes. If a car reaches the duckling first, the round is over. It plays like the chicken-road-style games you may know, with four roads to pick from, Spark rounds to play on the free Sparks the daily streak pays, and every paid round provably fair. Try the demo above, then read on for the full multiplier ladders.

Wind-up Crossing pros and cons
Pros
- One tap is one lane, so you decide after every single lane whether to go on
- Four roads from the same screen: a long, gentle climb on Easy or a nine-lane sprint on Daredevil
- The first lane pays more than your stake on every road (1.03× to 1.58×)
- Every road's full ladder is printed on the road signs before you press Cross
- Spark rounds play the same roads for XP, so practice carries over exactly
- Plays with Stars or Gram, inside Telegram: nothing to install
- Provably fair: the lane a car will hit is fixed by a committed seed before your first tap
Cons
- Nothing you see during a round tells you which lane a car will hit, so timing and patterns don't help
- Every road stops at its far side, under 100×, because single wins are capped
- Easy's first lanes climb slowly: you need 9 lanes to double your stake
- A hit takes the whole stake, even one lane before the far side
How does Wind-up Crossing work?
Wind-up Crossing is a cash-out game: one round is one walk across the street. Each press of Cross sends the duckling over one more lane, and the road sign in front of each lane shows what the round pays if you stop after it. You can stop after any lane by tapping the cup. If a car hits the duckling, the round ends and the stake is gone. Reach the far side, the toy shop across the street, and the round cashes out at the top of the ladder on its own.
The first press is the stake and the first lane together, so there is no free first step and no refund: from the first tap the duckling is on the road. If you walk away mid-round, the game cashes the round out at the lane you reached after 30 minutes.

Which road should you pick?
- Easy (55 lanes): the longest street and the gentlest climb. Lane 1 pays 1.03×, lane 10 pays 2.18× and the far side 93.19×. Pick it for long rounds and small steps.
- Mid (30 lanes): the middle road. Lane 1 pays 1.10×, lane 10 already 4.29×, and the far side 87.65×.
- Hard (16 lanes): lane 4 pays 3.00× and lane 8 pays 9.48×. The far side, 94.78×, is the highest of the four.
- Daredevil (9 lanes): a sprint. Lane 1 pays 1.58×, lane 5 pays 12.21× and the far side 94.26× after only nine lanes. Expect many short rounds.
Harder roads are shorter and steeper because each lane is more dangerous, and the traffic drives faster to show it. All four far sides pay close to the same top multiplier; the road you pick decides how quickly the ladder gets there.
When should you cash out?
There is no lane that is the right one to stop on. Each road's ladder is priced so that, on average, cashing out after lane 1 and cashing out after lane 8 are worth the same: the multiplier rises at the rate the danger adds up. Going further doesn't improve your result on average, it only makes the outcome swing more. Cash out early for frequent small wins, or push on for rarer big ones.
What does help is choosing your stopping lane before you press Cross the first time, and keeping to it. Moving the target mid-round because the last few lanes went well is how a plan becomes a chase. Our guide to cashing out works through this for every cash-out game in the app.
Do predictors and timing tricks work?
No. The lane a car will hit is fixed before your first press, from the round's seed, and never changes with how fast you tap, when you tap or what happened last round. "Predictor" apps, "signals" and paid Telegram channels that promise to know the safe lanes are selling something that cannot exist. Rounds are independent: three early hits in a row don't make the next round any safer.
Is Wind-up Crossing provably fair?
Yes. Before you play, the game shows the hash of its server seed. Your round's hit lane is drawn from that server seed, your client seed and the round's number, so it is fixed before the first lane. When you rotate your seed, the old server seed is revealed and you can replay any finished round in our provably fair checker to confirm the lane the car hit and the multiplier you were paid. Spark rounds use the house random number generator instead, since they stake no Stars or Gram.
Can you play it free?
Yes, two ways. The demo at the top of this page plays the real game in your browser with no stake. In the app, a Spark round costs 1 Spark, and the daily streak pays Sparks. A Spark round crosses the same roads and pays XP when you cash out: the multiplier rounded down, at least 1 XP and at most 50 XP. A hit pays nothing. Paid rounds pay XP for the stake too, win or lose.
Wind-up Crossing vs Chicken Road
Wind-up Crossing is our own game in the genre Chicken Road made famous, built for Telegram: you play inside the app with Stars, Gram or Sparks, and every paid round can be checked. Our Chicken Road review puts the two side by side and explains how to tell the real Chicken Road from the fake apps.
Wind-up Crossing FAQ
What is the highest multiplier in Wind-up Crossing?
94.78×, for reaching the far side of the Hard road after 16 lanes. The other far sides pay 93.19× on Easy (55 lanes), 87.65× on Mid (30 lanes) and 94.26× on Daredevil (9 lanes). Single wins are capped at 10,000 Stars or 1,000.
Is Wind-up Crossing the same as Chicken Road?
No. It is Gift Club's own crossing game in the same genre: a wind-up duckling instead of a chicken, four roads of 55, 30, 16 and 9 lanes, and it is played inside Telegram with Stars, Gram or Sparks.
Can I play Wind-up Crossing for free?
Yes. The demo on this page plays the real game with no stake, and in the app a Spark round costs 1 Spark from the free Sparks the daily streak pays. Spark rounds pay XP, not Stars.
What happens if I close the app mid-round?
Your round waits for you. If you don't come back within 30 minutes, it is cashed out at the lane you reached.
Can I play Wind-up Crossing with Gram?
Yes. Gram rounds take stakes from 0.1 to 10, cross the same roads at the same multipliers and cash out in Gram, up to 1,000 a win.
Does any app predict the safe lanes?
No. The hit lane is fixed by the round's seed before your first tap and can be checked afterwards. An app or channel that claims to predict it is a scam.
Play within your limits. Paid rounds cost Telegram Stars or Gram, and every game on Gift Club is built so the house keeps a margin — over enough rounds the maths runs against you, by design. Stars cannot be converted back into money. Treat paid play as entertainment you have budgeted for, set a limit before you start, and play Spark rounds whenever you just want to play.
