Plinko Gold is an 8-row Plinko board with two bonus pegs bolted onto the middle row. Touch one and you get a free golden ball that drops the full board and pays at the same table and the same stake. It is a genuinely different game from standard Plinko, not a reskin — and the most useful thing to understand about it is who pays for the free ball.

How to play Plinko Gold

Open Plinko Gold in the Games hub. Launch Gift Club inside Telegram, open Games and pick Plinko Gold. The board is always 8 rows.
Set your stake. Free mode pays XP. Paid mode accepts 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 Telegram Stars per drop.
Pick a risk level. Low, Medium or High. As in standard Plinko, this changes the payout attached to each slot, not the odds of landing there.
Drop the ball. The ball bounces once per row. On row four it can touch one of the two bonus pegs, which sit at the outermost reachable positions of that row.
Collect the bonus ball if it triggers. Hitting a bonus peg spawns one free golden ball that drops the whole board from the top and pays at your stake. It triggers on 12.5% of drops.
Collect both slot payouts. You are paid for the original ball and, if one spawned, the golden ball too — each at bet × the multiplier under its landing slot.

Who pays for the free ball

You do — through a slightly worse base table. This is worth stating plainly, because "free bonus ball" reads like a gift and it isn't one.

Compare the two 8-row tables. Standard Plinko on High pays 29.6× on the edge; Plinko Gold pays 25.8×, and both bottom out at 0.2× in the centre. Gold's table is worth about 11% less over a full board, and that difference is exactly what funds a free ball on 12.5% of drops.

That is not a criticism — it is arithmetic, and it applies to every bonus mechanic in every game of this type. A bonus that genuinely added value without a corresponding reduction elsewhere would make the game unprofitable to run.
