This Christmas bingo generator makes as many different bingo cards as you need, with Christmas words or the classic numbers 1 to 75, and a caller below draws the next word or number for you. It is free and runs in your browser: nothing to install, no sign-up, and nothing you make or type here is saved or sent anywhere.

How to play Christmas bingo with this generator

1. Pick the card type: Christmas words, or numbers from 1 to 75.
2. Choose how many cards you need and press New cards. Every card is different.
3. Press Print cards, or Copy as text to paste the cards into a group chat or a video call.
4. Give each player a card and something to mark it with. In the caller, press Call next, or turn on Auto-call.
5. The first player to mark five in a row, a column or a diagonal (the free centre counts) calls bingo. Check their line against the board.

How do you play Christmas bingo?

Every player gets a different 5 by 5 card with a free square in the middle. The caller draws one item at a time, with no repeats, and reads it out. Players mark the matching square if they have it. The first player with five marked squares in a straight line, across, down or on either diagonal, shouts bingo, and the caller checks that line against the items called so far. Agree the prize and whether the game goes on for a second line before the first call.

Word cards or number cards?

Word cards suit a mixed group. Nobody needs to read a number fast, and children can play by recognising “Snowman” or “Mistletoe”. Number cards are classic 75-ball bingo: column B holds 1 to 15, I holds 16 to 30, N holds 31 to 45, G holds 46 to 60 and O holds 61 to 75, and the caller reads each draw with its letter, such as B-7. Both kinds have no repeated item on a card, and the same item can appear on different cards.

Can I use my own words?

Yes. Under the word cards, type one word or phrase per line. You need at least 24 different words, because a card has 24 squares around the free centre. Once you have enough, the cards and the caller use your list instead of the Christmas one. A list of family names, inside jokes or film characters makes the game yours, and a longer list (30 to 40 items) gives every card a different mix.

How do I play Christmas bingo online with friends?

Use Copy as text to paste one card per player into a group chat. The text keeps the columns lined up inside a code block in Telegram and most other chats. Everyone marks their own card on paper or a screenshot, and you share your screen or read the calls aloud on a video call.
