One Breath is Gift Club's crash casino game on Telegram: a freediver slides down a rope with a loot bag, and the multiplier climbs with the depth. The bag fills on the way down and is always worth your stake times the multiplier on the button. Tap Surface to kick back up and collect it — or wait, and risk the round running out of air with the bag still down there. It is the classic crash format, with the maths published: the game returns 95% of what is staked, and the chance of reaching any multiplier is 95% divided by that multiplier.

One Breath pros and cons
Pros
- The odds are exact and published: 95% divided by the multiplier, for every target.
- No reaction-time tax: the game allows 0.3 seconds for your connection, so a tap pays what the button showed.
- Auto cash-out is paid by the server, even if you close the app mid-dive.
- Stars and Gram dives are provably fair, and every round can be checked after a seed rotation.
- Accepts Gram as well as Stars.
- A free dive costs one Spark, so you can learn the rhythm before staking Stars or Gram.
Cons
- 5% of rounds crash at 1.00×, before any cash-out is possible.
- The big multipliers are rare: 100× comes up in fewer than one round in a hundred.
- Rounds are single-player — there is no shared round or chat to watch.
How the crash point is decided
Every dive's end is fixed before it starts. The server draws one number from the round's provably fair seed and turns it into a crash point, the multiplier at which the diver runs out of air. Nothing you do during the round can move it, and nothing on screen knows it: the depth, the light, the heartbeat and the creatures all follow the multiplier you can see, never the one waiting ahead.
The draw is built so that the chance of reaching any multiplier is 95% divided by that multiplier. Reaching 2× happens 47.5% of the time, 10× 9.5% of the time, 100× 0.95% of the time. And 5% of rounds end at 1.00×, before the lowest cash-out of 1.01× — that is where the house margin sits.
Why no cash-out point is better than another
Multiply any target by its chance and you get the same number: 2× × 47.5% is 95%, 10× × 9.5% is 95%, 100× × 0.95% is 95%. A low target wins often and pays little; a high one rarely pays, and pays a lot. On average both return 95% of the stake. What you choose is the shape of your results, not their value — the trade we walk through in when to cash out.
That also rules out the usual systems. Doubling the stake after a loss buys the same odds at a bigger size, and a run of early crashes does not make the next dive any safer: each round is drawn on its own, with a new round number, from the same seed. See the gambler's fallacy for why the streak you remember is not a signal.
Your tap pays what you saw
A timed crash game has a quiet problem: your tap takes a moment to reach the server, and a game that judges it on arrival pays you less than the button showed. One Breath allows 0.3 seconds for that. The server judges a tap as if it arrived 0.3 seconds earlier, and the app draws the dive that much behind the server, so on a normal connection the Surface button shows exactly what a tap pays. A tap that lands just after the crash but inside that allowance still counts.
If you set an auto cash-out, you do not need to tap at all: the server surfaces at your target by itself, and pays it even if the app is closed. Without one, a dive you leave keeps going until it ends — a closed app does not stop the clock.
The ceiling
The deepest a dive goes is 1,000×, and a single win is capped at 10,000 Stars, so the ceiling falls as the stake rises: 1,000× at 5 and 10 Stars, 500× at 20, 200× at 50 and 100× at 100 Stars. A dive that reaches the ceiling surfaces there by itself and pays it in full, which is why the cap does not lower the return.
Gram dives follow the same rule with a 1,000 GRAM cap on a single win: 1,000× up to a 1 GRAM stake, 500× at 2 GRAM, 333.33× at 3, 200× at 5 and 100× at 10 GRAM.
Checking a round
Stars and Gram dives are provably fair. Before you dive, the game shows a hash of its server seed; your own client seed and the round number are mixed in, and the crash point comes from the first number they produce. After you rotate the seed, the game reveals it, and you can recompute every round you played on it — the verification walkthrough shows how. A fraction of a Star in a payout is settled by the round's second number, so even the rounding can be checked; a Gram payout is floored to the nanoton instead. Free dives use the server's secure random instead and are not part of the seed chain.
Free dives and XP
A free dive costs one Spark, the currency the daily streak pays, and pays XP instead of Stars: 1 XP for every dive, even one that crashes, plus about 0.2 XP for every 1× of your cash-out above 1×, up to 100 XP. Stars dives earn XP too — as much as the stake, win or lose, and Gram dives 75 XP per GRAM staked — except a dive you cash out below 1.50×, which earns none. That keeps a stream of instant cash-outs from farming XP.
The dive log
On the way down you pass reef fish, jellyfish, lanternfish and, very deep, stranger things. Whatever a dive really reaches goes into your dive log; what you only glimpse after surfacing, when the replay shows where the round would have ended, stays a silhouette until you reach it yourself. Filling the log earns Explorer titles. It is a collection, not a lever: the creatures are chosen separately from the crash point and change nothing about a round.

One Breath FAQ
What is the return to player in One Breath?
95%. The chance of reaching any multiplier is 95% divided by that multiplier, so every cash-out target returns 95% on average. 5% of rounds crash at 1.00×.
What is the biggest win in One Breath?
The multiplier tops out at 1,000×, and a single win is capped at 10,000 Stars. At a 5-Star stake the top win is 5,000 Stars; from 10 Stars up the cap is 10,000 Stars. A Gram win is capped at 1,000 GRAM, so the ceiling is 1,000× up to a 1 GRAM stake and 100× at 10 GRAM.
Is One Breath provably fair?
Stars and Gram dives are. The crash point comes from a server seed whose hash you see before the round, mixed with your client seed and the round number. Rotate the seed and you can recompute every round played on it. Free dives are not part of the seed chain.
Can I bet Gram on One Breath?
Yes. One Breath accepts Gram stakes from 0.1 to 10 GRAM alongside the 5 to 100 Star tiers. A Gram dive pays Gram at the same multipliers, and a single Gram win is capped at 1,000 GRAM.
Does my connection speed cost me money?
Not on a normal connection. The game judges a tap as if it arrived 0.3 seconds earlier and draws the dive that much behind, so the Surface button shows what a tap pays.
What happens if I close the app during a dive?
The round keeps going. An auto cash-out is still paid when the dive reaches it; without one, the dive runs until it ends, and a crash loses the stake.
Do the creatures change my odds?
No. They are picked separately from the crash point and only fill your dive log.
Play within your limits. Paid rounds cost Telegram Stars or Gram, and every game on Gift Club is built so the house keeps a margin — over enough rounds the maths runs against you, by design. Stars cannot be converted back into money. Treat paid play as entertainment you have budgeted for, set a limit before you start, and play free rounds with Sparks whenever you just want to play. Gift Club is 18+.
