Coin Flip Game — Play Online (August 2026)

Coin Flip on Gift Club: a flat 1.90× on any win, 50/50 odds, Stars or TON bets. The simplest game in the app, and the easiest to read the maths on.

Coin Flip is the most transparent game on Gift Club. You call heads or tails, the coin resolves, and a correct call pays a flat 1.90× your stake. There are no risk levels to compare, no ladder to climb and no cash-out timing to get right — which makes it the best game in the app for seeing exactly what a house margin looks like.

    How to play Coin Flip

    1. Open Coin Flip in the Games hub. Launch Gift Club in Telegram, open Games and pick Coin Flip. It loads instantly — there is nothing to configure.
    2. Choose your stake. Free mode costs nothing and pays XP. Paid mode accepts 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 Telegram Stars, or a TON bet from 0.1 to 10 TON.
    3. Call heads or tails. Tap one side. Both sides are equally likely and both pay the same 1.90× — the call carries no strategic weight.
    4. Flip. The result resolves against a pre-committed server seed, so the outcome was fixed before you chose a side.
    5. Collect. A correct call pays bet × 1.90 straight into your balance. An incorrect one loses the stake. Free rounds award XP on a win.

    Coin Flip pros and cons

    Pros

    • The simplest odds in the app — a true 50/50 with one published multiplier
    • One tap per round, so it is the fastest way to complete a daily play quest
    • Accepts both Telegram Stars and TON
    • Nothing to learn, so no gap between a new player and an experienced one
    • Provably fair, with the result committed before you call a side

    Cons

    • A win pays 1.90×, not 2× — the gap is the house margin, and it is unavoidable
    • No decisions after the call, so there is nothing to get better at
    • Low ceiling: 190 Stars from the largest stake is the most a single round returns

Where the margin is, in one line

A fair coin pays 2× on a 50/50 call. Coin Flip pays 1.90×. That 0.10× is the entire house margin, and unlike most games it is impossible to obscure — there is one multiplier and one probability.

Concretely: stake 100 Stars a hundred times and you expect fifty wins at 190 Stars, so 9,500 Stars back from 10,000 staked. That is what a house margin does over volume. It is not a criticism of this particular game — it is the structure every operator uses to fund the app, and Coin Flip is simply the one that shows you the number directly rather than burying it in a seventeen-slot table.

    Is there any strategy?

No, and any guide claiming otherwise is selling something. Both sides are equally likely and both pay the same, so heads-every-time, alternating, and following streaks all produce identical results over any number of rounds.

The one thing worth avoiding is martingale — doubling your stake after every loss to recover. It fails here for two hard reasons: the bet tiers stop at 100 Stars, so the doubling sequence hits a wall after a few losses, and the 1.90× payout means a recovered win does not even return the full sequence. A run of five losses is a 3% event, and it will happen inside a normal session.

What Coin Flip is genuinely good for

    • Clearing daily quests. One tap per round makes it the quickest way through any "play N rounds" task.
    • Understanding the app's economics. Once you have seen 1.90× on a 50/50, every other game's table reads more clearly.
    • Free XP. The free mode has no margin at all, because there is no stake to take a margin from.

If you want more from a round

Coin Flip's ceiling is deliberately low. For a longer decision chain with the same coin-flip feel, Rock Paper Scissors runs a five-round multiplier ladder that starts at the same 1.90× and compounds to 30.40×. For control over your own odds, Roll Over lets you set any win chance from 1% to 97% and prices the multiplier accordingly — Coin Flip is effectively that game locked at 50%.

    Coin Flip FAQ

How much does Coin Flip pay on Telegram?

A correct call pays a flat 1.90× your stake, on either side. At the 100-Star maximum bet that is 190 Stars. There are no risk levels or bonus multipliers — 1.90× is the only payout in the game.

Why does Coin Flip pay 1.90× instead of 2×?

That gap is the house margin. A 50/50 call at a true 2× would return exactly what it costs over time and the game would fund nothing. Coin Flip is unusual in showing the margin in a single visible number rather than distributing it across a payout table.

Is heads or tails better in Coin Flip?

Neither. Both sides have identical 50% odds and identical 1.90× payouts, so the call has no effect on your expected return. Streak-following, alternating and always picking one side are all mathematically the same.

Can I bet TON on Coin Flip?

Yes. Coin Flip accepts TON stakes of 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 TON alongside the Telegram Stars tiers of 5 to 100 Stars. The 1.90× payout is the same in either currency.

Does the martingale system work on Coin Flip?

No. Bet tiers cap at 100 Stars so the doubling sequence runs out after a handful of losses, and because a win pays 1.90× rather than 2× a recovery win does not cover the preceding losses in full. Five consecutive losses is roughly a 3% event and will occur in normal play.

Play within your limits. Paid rounds cost Telegram Stars and every game on Gift Club is built so the house keeps a margin — over enough rounds the maths runs against you, by design. Stars cannot be converted back into money. Treat paid play as entertainment you have budgeted for, set a limit before you start, and use the free XP mode whenever you just want to play. Gift Club is 18+.
