Gift Club runs Secret Santa inside Telegram. One person starts a group, shares its link to the group chat, and everyone joins with a tap. Once 4 or more have joined, the organiser draws the names, each Santa sends a wrapped present in the app, and the whole group opens them together on 24 December. Nobody signs up, nobody types an email, and nobody can see the pairs, not even the organiser.

How Secret Santa in Telegram works
- Start a group. Open Gift Club in Telegram, go to Secret Santa, name the group and pick a suggested budget: 25, 50, 100 or 250 Stars. The budget is a guide, not a rule.
- Share it to the chat. The group has one link. Post it in your family, friends or office chat, and each person joins from it. A group holds 4 to 30 people.
- Draw the names. The organiser presses Draw the names. The server makes one random loop through the group, so nobody gets themselves and nobody is left out. Each member sees only who they are Santa for.
- Send a present by 22 December. Pick a box, one of your gifts, or a Spark box, choose a wrap and a tag, and send. The recipient sees a wrapped present marked "From your Secret Santa".
- Open everything on 24 December. On reveal day every present opens and every Santa is shown.
Start your Secret Santa in Telegram
Make a group, share it to your chat and draw the names. Presents open on 24 December.
Start a groupWhy nobody finds out early
A Secret Santa organiser who draws names on paper, or with most websites, can see every pair. Here the draw happens on the server and is never shown to anyone as a list. Before reveal day:
- no screen, message or reminder names a giver, not even to the organiser;
- the group shows how many presents have arrived, not who has sent theirs, because a list of who has not sent yet would give the last Santa away;
- a new present appears on the shelf only from the next whole hour, so you can't match it to the moment a friend went quiet in the chat;
- a group needs at least 4 people, because with 3, anyone who knows their own recipient can work out their Santa.
What you can send
- A box. A Gift Club box paid in Telegram Stars. The recipient opens it on reveal day and keeps whatever it holds. Each member can pick a few boxes as wishes, and their Santa sees that list after the draw.
- One of your gifts. A Telegram gift from your Gift Club collection goes to the recipient's collection instead.
- A Spark box. Paid with Sparks, the free currency the app hands out every few hours, so nobody has to spend money to take part.
A box or a gift for a friend unlocks after your first top-up. A Spark box never needs one. Gift Club is for adults: the boxes are paid, and what a box holds is decided when it is opened.
What happens if someone forgets
Every office Secret Santa has one. When sending closes at the end of 22 December, Gift Club puts a Spark box, marked "From Gift Club", on every empty slot, so nobody opens nothing on reveal day.
Secret Santa app or a name generator?
If your group swaps physical presents at a party, you only need the draw. Our free Secret Santa generator does that in the browser and gives each person a private link, with exclusions for couples. If the group is spread across cities, or simply lives in one Telegram chat, the app does the whole exchange: the draw, the presents, the wrapping and the reveal, without anyone posting a parcel. It works as a virtual Secret Santa for remote teams for the same reason.

FAQ
Is there a Secret Santa app for Telegram?
Yes. Gift Club is a Telegram mini app with Secret Santa built in: one group link for the chat, a draw nobody can see, wrapped presents and a shared reveal on 24 December. Nothing to install.
Can the organiser see who got whom?
No. The draw is made on the server and no screen shows the pairs. The organiser sees who they are Santa for, like everyone else, and learns the rest on reveal day.
How many people can join a Secret Santa group?
From 4 to 30. Four is the minimum because with three, anyone who knows their own recipient can work out who their Santa is.
Do I have to pay to take part?
No. You can send a Spark box, paid with the free Sparks the app hands out. A box paid in Stars, or one of your gifts, unlocks after your first top-up.
When are the presents opened?
On 24 December. Presents can be sent until the end of 22 December, and they stay wrapped until reveal day.
What if my Secret Santa doesn't send anything?
When sending closes, Gift Club puts a Spark box on every empty slot, so everyone has a present to open on reveal day.
