    Virus is not malware: it is a Telegram gift game where you play crash, roulette and upgrades with NFT gifts. As of October 8, 2026 its bot page shows 574,355 monthly users and its channel about 978,000 subscribers. We found no published RTP, no provably fair check, no terms of service and no named operator on its public pages. Disclosure: Gift Club, which wrote this page, is a competitor.

    What is Virus?

    Virus is a Mini App for Telegram's collectible gifts. Its official channel posts about crash, roulette and upgrade rounds and a slots mode, and a Mini App catalogue listing files it as GameFi and tap-to-earn, with the tagline "The virus will kill you". It runs inside Telegram, so there is nothing to install. The app's interface is in English, while the channel posts in Russian. We found no website for the app itself. The public links are the play bot, the channel, a support bot, a chat and a gift deposit bot.

    How do you pay on Virus?

    Two ways show up in public: Telegram Stars, and NFT gifts you already own, which you send through a separate deposit bot. The channel also links a site that sells Stars top-ups; we are only saying the channel links it, and we haven't checked how it works. Gift values in its posts are counted in TON. What a round costs and what each game pays only shows in the app, and Virus doesn't publish the odds.

    Can you withdraw from Virus?

    Its channel shows NFT gift withdrawals in its payout posts. We found no published fee, minimum, delay or limit, and nothing about how a withdrawal is reviewed. That doesn't mean there isn't one, only that it isn't written anywhere you can read before you deposit. A payout post is also marketing: it shows that a withdrawal happened, not how often or how fast. Ask support for the rules first, and keep the answer.

    Is Virus legit?

    We can't judge an app from the outside, and we won't pretend to. What we can say is what its public pages leave out. As of October 8, 2026, none of them showed:

    • a return to player (RTP) or the odds of any game;
    • a provably fair system you could use to check a round yourself;
    • terms of service, a company name or a licence;
    • a published withdrawal fee, minimum or limit.

    Many gift-game apps publish none of these, and the same checks apply to every one of them, ours included. The full checklist is in Are Telegram gift games legit?. One practical warning: because the name is a common word, open Virus only from the link in its channel, and never send a gift or a seed phrase to an account that messages you first.

    Why we built Gift Club differently

    This part is our pitch, so read it as one. Gift Club has gift boxes and scratch cards too, plus 24 games, and it publishes what Virus's public pages don't:

    • Every game's RTP, in the Telegram games RTP index. Most are 95%.
    • A provably fair check for every round: the server commits to a seed before you play, and you can recompute the result in the provably fair checker.
    • Written claim rules. A gift you win goes to your Telegram profile as a real Telegram gift, and an NFT prize goes to your connected TON wallet after a review that the app promises within 24 hours.
    Gift Club's Plinko win card: the gift-box host above a Jackpot ribbon, ×28.2 and 2,820 Stars on a 100-Star ball, with paper confetti.
    Gifts of Zeus after a winning spin: Zeus cheering above the board and a Big win! medallion at 15x, 1,500 Stars on a 100-Star spin.
    Two win screens from Gift Club: a Plinko Jackpot and a big win on Gifts of Zeus, both on a 100-Star stake. Wins this size are the exception, not the rule: every game keeps a house edge.

    Where Virus is ahead: it has a bigger audience, and it takes NFT gift deposits. Those are coming to Gift Club soon: we're building them now, so you'll be able to stake the gifts you already own.
