It buys Telegram gifts and NFT gifts on the Portals, MRKT, Tonnel and Getgems marketplaces, and Money, Telegram's own wallet, sends it to anyone. Gram also plays: Gift Club takes Gram stakes from 0.1 in 28 games and opens four Gram boxes and three Gram scratch cards, most with NFT prizes, all provably fair. Playing is a game with a house edge, not a way to earn Gram.

What can you buy with Gram on Fragment?

On Fragment, the marketplace tied to Telegram, Gram pays for collectible usernames, anonymous numbers, Telegram Premium and Stars. You connect a TON wallet with Gram in it and your Telegram account, and pay from the wallet. Gram also flows the other way: channel ad revenue is paid in Gram and withdrawn through Fragment, and Stars that a channel or bot has earned can be withdrawn there after 21 days. Can you buy Telegram gifts and NFT gifts with Gram?

Yes. Portals, MRKT, Tonnel and Getgems list Telegram gifts and NFT gifts priced in Gram, so a Gram balance in a TON wallet is what you buy with. Fees and floors differ by marketplace, and on a cheap gift they can take a large share of the price. How do you send Gram to someone in Telegram?

Use Money, Telegram's built-in wallet for Gram. Walt's channel reported on October 9, 2026 that Money is non-custodial, stores and sends Gram, and pays for gifts and collectible usernames; Telegram opened it widely that day, though it has published no country list. The Money section appears in your account after someone sends you a Gram transfer. Money does not sell Gram: to buy, use Walt (formerly Wallet), then in Money tap Add Funds, Buy with cash or crypto, Deposit from Walt. Can you turn Gram into Telegram Stars, and Stars into Gram?

Gram into Stars, yes. Getgems tops up a Telegram account's Stars balance with GRAM without KYC (its help centre, updated September 6, 2026), and Fragment sells Stars for Gram. In Gift Club you can top up your in-app Stars with Gram too: 1 buys 90 Stars, and paying with Gram adds 5% more Stars. Those Stars are the balance you play with in the app, not Stars for your Telegram account. Can you play with Gram in Telegram?

Yes. Gift Club is a Telegram Mini App with gift boxes and games, and it is the one place on this list where Gram is staked rather than spent on something you keep. 28 of its games take Gram, and so do four boxes and three scratch cards. As of October 27, 2026, here is how it works and what it costs.

How do you start?

Connect a TON wallet through TON Connect (the list includes Walt and Tonkeeper), deposit from 1 (the sheet offers 1, 2, 5 and 10), and switch the balance pill at the top of the app to Gram. Which games take Gram, and for how much?

28 games take Gram stakes from 0.1, up to 10 (less in Slots, Plinko and Plinko Gold). One win is capped at 1,000, and at 25 in Slots, Plinko and Plinko Gold. What do the Gram boxes and scratch cards hold?

Four boxes and three scratch cards are priced in Gram. They are bought, not played, so they sit in the Collect tab under GRAM and not in the game list. You can see the prize list before you buy.

What happens when you win?

A Gram prize lands in your Gram balance, the balance you play with in the app. A won NFT is yours to claim: send it to your own TON wallet (Settings, Connect wallet, then Gifts & NFTs and Transfer to Wallet), or swap it for Gram in the app. A won Telegram gift goes to your Telegram profile. What an NFT sells for on a marketplace is the market's call, not the app's.

Is it a way to earn Gram?

Can you stake or just hold Gram?

Both. Gram can sit in your wallet, and it can be staked through TON validators and pools. TON's own site says Gram pays network fees and takes part in validation and voting, and that liquid staking protocols accept stakes from 1 Gram. Staking is a third-party service with a variable return, not a Telegram feature, and the price can fall while you hold. What should you not do with Gram?

• Never "swap TON for GRAM" or "activate new GRAM". The rename on June 15, 2026 needed no action, and the official TON channel warned on June 1, 2026 that any site, bot or link asking you to claim GRAM or migrate TON is a scam. Walt warns against the same offers. See Toncoin Is Now Gram.
• Ignore "mining" bots and free-Gram faucets. TON is secured by validators who stake the coin, so a phone has nothing to mine. The balance such an app shows is a number, and the withdraw button asks for a deposit first.
• Never share your secret words. No real wallet, marketplace or support account needs them, and nobody offering "help" in your DMs should get them.
