You can play multiplayer Minesweeper with a friend in Gift Club, a games app inside Telegram. Send a challenge link, share one board, and take turns opening tiles: the first player to hit a mine loses. It's a quick duel of nerve and luck, because this version has no number clues.

What do you get in a 1v1 match?

You get one short match on one shared board, played in turns from a link in any Telegram chat.

How do you play Minesweeper with a friend?

To play with a friend, you create a challenge and send them the link.

    1. Open Gift Club in Telegram and go to PvP Minefield.
    2. Pick a stake, or play with Sparks.
    3. Send the challenge link to your friend in any chat. It stays open for 10 minutes.
    4. Your friend taps the link and joins at the same stake.
    5. Take turns opening tiles until someone hits a mine.

If you miss your 10 seconds, a random closed tile opens for you. When the match ends, you can offer a rematch straight away.

A match on the player's turn: one shared board, opened tiles in each player's colour, and the pot the winner takes.

How is this different from classic Minesweeper?

The main difference is that a safe tile shows no number, so you can't work out where the mines are. Many multiplayer Minesweeper sites keep the numbers and have players race or work together on a logic board. PvP Minefield is a turn-based game of chance instead.

Want the numbers? Play the free classic Minesweeper in your browser, or read how to play Minesweeper. Gift Club also has a solo Minesweeper with number clues in the Games hub.

Can you play multiplayer Minesweeper for free?

Yes, you can play on free Sparks instead of Stars or Gram. A Spark duel costs each player 1 Spark and pays no prize, only XP. The streak pays free Sparks every 4 hours, and new players start with some.

A duel for Stars or Gram uses real money, and over time the rake means you get back less than you stake, so only play with what you can afford to lose.

What if no friend is online?

You can play the bot straight away, for Stars or Sparks. It's clearly labelled, sees only the closed tiles you see, and never plays for Gram. There is no open lobby for finding strangers, so a human opponent has to come from your own link.

    Is the duel fair?

In a Stars or Gram duel, the mine layout is locked in before your friend joins, and you can check it afterwards. The seed's hash is committed when the challenge is created and the seed is revealed when the match ends. Provably fair verification shows how to run the check. Common questions

Is there a two player Minesweeper?

Yes. PvP Minefield in Gift Club is a two player game on Telegram: you share one board, take turns opening tiles, and the first player to hit a mine loses. It has no number clues, so it plays differently from classic Minesweeper.

Does PvP Minefield have number clues?

No. A safe tile shows no number and tells you nothing about the tiles around it, so there is nothing to deduce. For classic number clues, play the free Minesweeper on this site or the solo Minesweeper in the app.

Do I need to download anything?

You only need Telegram. Gift Club opens inside it as a Mini App, and your friend joins by tapping your link.

Can I play multiplayer Minesweeper in a browser?

Not on Gift Club: duels run inside Telegram, on a phone or computer. The free classic Minesweeper on this site runs in a browser, but it's for one player.

Can I play against random people?

No. There is no open lobby. You play a friend through a challenge link, or the labelled bot.

How long does a challenge link last?

It stays open for 10 minutes. You can cancel an unanswered challenge and get your stake back.
