To withdraw Gram (TON, formerly Toncoin), you send it from your wallet to an address you control or to an exchange, and sell it there. As of November 4, 2026, Walt, the wallet inside Telegram, withdraws to any TON address for a 0.05 network fee with a 0.1 minimum. It also sells Gram by P2P or by card, and exchanges that list GRAM/USDT sell it for stablecoins you can then cash out.

How do I withdraw Gram from Walt to my own wallet?
Open Walt (@walt), choose Gram (GRAM), use its withdraw option and enter the TON address of the wallet or exchange deposit you are sending to. Walt's fee page, updated October 31, 2026, lists a 0.05 network fee and a 0.1 minimum per withdrawal. At the $1.23 price of October 27, the fee is about six cents. Send a small test amount first, because a blockchain transfer cannot be reversed, and confirm the address on your side character by character.
Two details save money. Withdraw to the TON network only; some listings still say "Gram (prev. Toncoin)", and it is the same coin. And if the receiving exchange shows a memo or comment with its deposit address, copy it exactly. If your Gram is in Telegram's Money wallet rather than Walt, see Gram Wallet (Money) and Walt first: Telegram has published no help page for Money, so this page does not give a send-out path from it.
How do I turn Gram into cash?
There are three routes, and which is best depends on the rate, your payment method and your patience.
- Walt P2P. You sell to another user. Walt's help says selling on the P2P Market has no service fee, and the rate and the ways you can be paid are set in the ad, so read them before you start.
- Walt by card. A third-party provider pays out to your card. Walt lists 3.5% plus any foreign exchange fee your bank adds, so compare the final amount shown in the app with a P2P ad.
- An exchange. Binance, Bybit, OKX, Gate and KuCoin list GRAM against USDT (CoinGecko, October 27, 2026). Withdraw GRAM from Walt to the exchange's TON deposit address, sell it for USDT on the spot market, then withdraw or sell the USDT through whatever the exchange offers where you live. Most exchanges ask you to verify your identity first, and each sets its own fees, so read them before you deposit.
An instant exchange service, an automatic site where you enter a card number and send Gram to the address it shows, is the quicker option, though its rate is usually worse than an exchange's. Check reviews before you use one, and avoid Telegram bots that offer to buy Gram in a chat.
What does it cost to withdraw Gram?
The one fixed cost is 0.05 for a withdrawal out of Walt, wherever it goes. Walt lists no service fee on P2P selling and 3.5% on card selling, before your bank's foreign exchange fee. An exchange adds its own trading and withdrawal fees, which you must read there, and Walt's asset exchange runs from 0.9% on the base tier down to 0.09% on the top one, though its table does not name GRAM, so confirm in the app. Since the rate differs between a P2P ad, a card quote and an exchange, compare the final amount you would receive, not the fee alone.
How do I avoid scams when I sell Gram?
- Pay and get paid inside the platform's deal. Do not move a P2P deal to a private chat, and release your Gram only when the money is in your account, not when a screenshot says it was sent.
- Be careful with a rate that looks too good. An unusually high price is a common sign of a scam. Check the buyer's completed deals and rating.
- Nobody needs your secret words. Walt says its team never messages you first. Real support accounts are listed in where the Telegram wallet went.
- Know your country's rules. Rules for selling crypto differ by country and change, and this page is not legal advice.
Can I withdraw Gram from Gift Club?
The Gram you deposit in Gift Club stays in the app as your balance for playing, and the deposit sheet says so. What leaves the app is a prize you claim: a Telegram gift to your profile, or an NFT to your TON wallet. Swapping a prize for Gram adds to your in-app balance, not to your wallet. So deposit only what you plan to play with, and keep the rest in your wallet. Before you deposit, the way in is covered in how to buy Gram.
What can I do with Gram instead of selling it?
Spend it. Gram buys Telegram gifts and usernames, Premium and Stars on Fragment, and plays in Mini Apps that accept TON Connect. The full list is in what to do with Gram in Telegram. In Gift Club, 33 games take Gram stakes from 0.1, and you connect Walt or Tonkeeper, then deposit at least 1. Every Gram round is provably fair, and prizes are real Telegram gifts. Games are in TON games on Telegram, and the steps in how to play with Gram on Gift Club. The coin itself is explained in Toncoin is now Gram.
