Telegram Premium Price: What It Costs in 2026

Telegram doesn't publish one Premium price. What you pay depends on where you subscribe (the App Store, Google Play or @PremiumBot), your country and your payment method, and Telegram says the price shown can include store fees and local taxes. How much does Telegram Premium cost?

There is no single number, and Telegram's Premium FAQ doesn't give one. What it says is that it tries to keep the cost "as consistent as possible", with slight variations that reflect local living standards. The price on your screen is the price that applies to you, so open Settings → Telegram Premium to read it before you pay.

Be wary of any table that claims to list the exact monthly price in every country. Telegram doesn't publish one, store prices are set per storefront, and a number copied from a forum a year ago is a snapshot of a price that may have moved.

Why is Telegram Premium a different price in my country?

Three things stack on top of each other, according to Telegram's FAQ:

• Local pricing. Telegram keeps small variations to reflect local living standards, so it stays obtainable for everyone.
• Store and third-party fees. The App Store and Google Play take a fee, and the price you see may include it.
• Taxes and currency. Local taxes apply, and the currency follows your store account. In @PremiumBot it follows the country code of your phone number for the first payment, and the country of your card after that. To get a local price, the card must be issued in that country with a local billing address.

Where is Telegram Premium cheapest?

Telegram's own answer is @PremiumBot: paying through the bot avoids the Apple and Google fees, so its subscriptions are discounted by default. The catch is availability: the bot works from the direct Android, Desktop and macOS versions of Telegram, not from apps downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. The yearly plan is the other saving, sold at a significant discount over paying monthly.

How do you buy Telegram Premium?

1. In the app: Settings → Telegram Premium, then pick a plan. It bills through the App Store or Google Play.

Why is Telegram Premium not available in my country?
